NCI: As a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Specialist ( Technical Security Specialist II ), with an emphasis on RF (radio frequency) expertise, you will work with a team of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and administering security systems for the safety of the United States. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Highlights of Responsibilities:
  • Provide a broad range of support to the Technical Security Program.
  • Lead and assist with Technical Security Missions (TSCM) including construction security.
  • Perform directly and/or oversee research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and /or the development of Technical Security equipment and systems.
  • Review, analyze, and resolve, independently and as part of a team, difficult and complex technical security problems.
  • Resolve and/or recommend solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations.
  • Design, operate and maintain Distributed Communication and Radio Systems.

Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance.
  • Government certification in TSCM.
  • Associates degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent military training.
  • 5 years of professional Technical Security (TSCM) experience.
  • Extensive experience with RF analysis to include system configuration. 


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors of Science in physics, or engineering.
  • Project engineering/management experience.
